The Y-Zetts, in conjunction with traders and the Northern Grampians Shire Council, will conduct its 14th annual shopping spree on Friday November 9 from 6pm.
Shoppers purchase a $20 ‘passport’ which gives them access to discounts at select traders in Stawell as well as a gift voucher supplied by every participating store.
Last year, 230 shoppers spent more than $100,000 in town. This year, funds raised from the event will go to purchasing an orthopedic saw due to an increased amount of joint replacements at Stawell Regional Health.
Y-Zetts president Meg Blake said the event is a “win-win” situation.
“By supporting this event, your dollars stay in Stawell and the business sector, people have fun and we support or local health service,” she said.
“The event is re-invigorated. We have traders who have been with us all 14 years and some exciting first timers too.”
Passports are available for purchase through Lyn (0419 910 521) or Meg (0417 581 421).
