The market provided residents an opportunity to participate in many activities and some shopping, with a variety of stalls.
Designed with the dual purpose of being a major fundraiser and providing an event for the community, the market showcased regional makers and growers, as well as providing food and entertainment for the family.
Stawell 502 principal Robyn Jones said the market – a change from the traditional Stawell 502 Fete – ran on October 19.
She said the event would not have been possible without the support provided by staff, students, parents, stallholders and sponsors.
“We are incredibly thankful for their support, and the support of the community who attended on the evening,” she said.
Mrs Jones said money raised would contribute towards the holistic education of 502 students.
