The idea of the week is to encourage adults and elderly people who do not feel confident with technology and to show them they are capable of learning.
Stawell Library got in the spirit of the week, hosting a Robot Zoo display for the residents Eventide Homes before members of Pinnacle came to the library to give it a go.
iPads were distributed for participants to control robotic spheres that rolled across the ground.
“A lot of the people we were with had never even touched an iPad before so it was a good intro for them,” Stawell Library manager Kerry Wilson said.
“In terms of getting online or with any technology questions we encourage people to stop by at the library any time because we are always there to help.
“We live in a very digital world now and it is important we don’t leave the older generations behind.”
