The biennial event was bigger and better than its last happening in 2016, with more quilts and bigger crowds.
“It went very well, we had approximately 250 people through the door over the three days,” show organiser Pauline Holden said.
“We had people from all over the place, with some as far as South Australia.
“The most common remark was about the range of difference in the quilts which was great to hear.”
The Stawell Quilters group will now start thinking about their next show scheduled to be held in 2020. A recipient for the funds of the show is still yet to be decided.
