The project began at the start of August, with major resurfacing and street widening works undertaken.
The red-paver path has been extended along much of the street, creating more retail friendly access.
Northern Grampians Shire Council mayor Tony Driscoll said he has been pleased with the progress he has seen so far.

“We are really pleased with the way it is coming along. We appreciate the retailers and residents putting up with a bit of inconvenience,” he said.
“It is a bit of short-term pain for long-term gain.
“We are optimistic about the effect this will have on the town.”
In a positive for residents in Stawell, the project at the bottom-part of Main Street is ahead of budget, with the top-part on track to be finished by the end of October.
“From a financial perspective we are under budget now too which is very exciting,” Cr Driscoll said.
“These indicators have shown our contractors have done a great job in delivering a great service in a timely manner.
“Hopefully by October 26 we will have it all complete.”
Residents and business owners alike have had to endure minor inconveniences throughout the project, with limited vehicle access to some parts and some businesses closing briefly.
Clark’s Furniture owner Llewelyn Clark said he has had a “very positive” experience throughout the project.
“I think it is a fantastic initiative and effort and it is going to be great once it is completed,” he said.
“I think the general feeling among the business owners is nothing but positivity.”
Mr Clark said his business actually made more sales during the works than usual.
“Our foot traffic is down because of the works but our sales are up because there is less people walking in just to browse. People are coming specifically to buy,” he said.
Cr Driscoll said residents should prepare for some more slight inconveniences, with works to continue next week.
“Next Tuesday and Wednesday Main Street will be closed from the Wimmera Street post office up due to some asphalt works,” he said.
“It should be opened by Wednesday night.”
