The Spring into Summer events calendar will kick off with Ararat Parkrun on Saturday, November 24 from 8am at Alexandra Gardens.
From 4pm to 8pm the Elmhurst Bush Market will take place, featuring food vendors, kids’ activities and stalls.
Cinema Pop Up will run for four nights from Thursday November 22 to November 25.
Ararat Rural City Council Mayor Gwenda Allgood said she was delighted to have the event return to Elizabeth Park after it was cancelled in 2017 due to inclement weather.
“Cinema Pop Up encourages families to come along early ... and set up with blankets and cushions for a picnic before the movie kicks off,” she said.
Tickets will be available for booking from October 1 at CinemaPopUp.com.au.
The calendar of events will culminate in the inaugural Run with the Wind Ararat on November 25 – the first running event hosted inside a Victorian wind farm.
