Libby Fifis commenced as the permanent chief executive in September after acting in the role for six months.
Ms Fifis said she was pleased to introduce a new-look management team to the Stawell community.
“I am privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead a wonderful team in an organisation that is so clearly important to our community,” Ms Fifis said in reflecting on her appointment.
“The new team is strengthened with a mix of existing and new professionals.”
The new leadership team will consist of primary care manager Rhys Duncan, director of clinical services Robyn Wilson, interim executive providing leader ship to the acute and community nursing team Kate Pryde, finance manager Ian Martin and human resources manager Ceri Hugo.
“The team bring with them a wealth of experience and we are excited about the opportunity to serve our community” Ms Fifis said.
Stawell Regional Health has completed significant refurbishment work in the residential aged care facility and will be opening to the community in the next few weeks.
“With funding announcements recently, there are great things under way and more to come,” she said.
Ms Fifis said her biggest passion was in equity in rural health.
“I am really keen to work with the community to ensure we are delivering fantastic care to residents,” she said.
