The championship will be run on November 10 and 17 with the final round on November 18.
The annual event was postponed in January after hot weather affected the course.
Stawell Golf Club president Ian Mitchell said works to prepare the course to ensure it is in a suitable condition are underway.
It’s the marquee event for club members.

“We wanted the course to be in as good a condition as possible,” he said.
“We are setting aside a maintenance strategy and we have to fit it in with other general course maintenance work.
“The process we are going through at the moment is to do some rejuvenation on the greens.
“The intention is the course will be good to go in November.”
Mr Mitchell said the men’s championship was a marquee event and it was important to be able to set a date.
“It’s good have a position where we can actually get the annual championships finalised,” he said.
“It’s the marquee event for club members so that they can gain recognition in their individual grades as to who is playing the best at that time. It’s a pretty critical event.”
