Students embraced their creative and inquisitive sides throughout a range of scientific tasks, focusing on the outdoors.
The theme for the week was Game Changers and Change Makers.
The younger prep to grade two students create ‘seed bombs’ with a mixture of flowers and native wildflowers. They were designed to attract insects and provide a food source for the insects.
The older grade three to grade six students researched a local pollinating insect species. With that information, the students designed and created ‘insect hotels’, which have now been placed in the school grounds.
