The match will be played on Maryborough’s Hedges Oval, the home ground of Royal Park.
“Considering it is their home ground they get to play on it will be tough but I think everyone is pretty excited for the challenge,” Navarre senior football coach Kyle Hendy said.
“It has been pretty good on the training track on the last few weeks.”
The Grasshoppers are far from the powerhouse side they have been in recent seasons but still boast a great deal of players with significant finals experience.
Hendy said he is confident his side can survive the elimination final and they know what to do to win.
“We are as full strength as we can be now,” he said.
“We need quick ball movement out of the backline to be dangerous. We also need our mids and half forwards to defend strongly too.”

Navarre finished sixth on the ladder at the end of the home and away season, winning nine games. The Grasshoppers have history on their side, dropping just one game to Royal Park in seven years.
Navarre was contending for a fourth place finish mid-season, but dropped away late and will be looking to regain the early season form that saw them provide some tough encounters for the top teams.
Navarre’s under-11.5 football side will take on Talbot and its 17-and-under netball team will face Newstead also at Hedges Oval on Sunday.
