The club organises the market every year.
It is the first stage in the process of raising money for the Ararat Carols By Candlelight.
The market will be at the Alexandra Hall in Ararat on Sunday from 8am to noon.
The Y’s Mens Club was originally a service club to the YMCA.
Club member Joe Perry said this was the first event the Y’s Mens Club would host during the year to raise money for the town’s Carols By Candlelight event.
“We do charity work in the community,” he said.
Mr Perry said this was the 25th year the club had raised money for the carols service.
“Over the years, carols has become more expensive so we have had to start raising money earlier in the year,” he said.
“We want to raise as much money as possible. We need roughly $9000 to run Carols by Candlelight.”
Mr Perry said this market would include items typical for trash and treasure lovers.
He said the proceeds from the market will kick start the money raising.
