Lonergan, who played more than 200 AFL games with the Cats including the 2011 premiership, will come to Stawell’s Central Park on Thursday, August 2 from 5pm to 6.30pm.
The activities being run will be for all junior footballers regardless of their club, with anyone welcome to come along.
“There will be some giveaways, a handball competition and a free sausage sizzle,” Stawell Toyota general manager Debbie Hart said.
“We have had something similar in Stawell before and it was really well supported so we expect plenty of kids to come down again.”
Stawell Auskick coordinator Andrew Dunn said he expects the event to be successful.
“It is always good to have an ex-AFL player come down,” he said.
“The response has been pretty good so I would think there would be some big numbers turn up.”
