Grampian Model Railroaders exhibition manager Colin Konig said there were lots of good railroad layouts at the weekend’s exhibition.
“We had people travel from interstate to be part of the exhibition,” he said.
About 1500 people visited the exhibition across the weekend, with some returning as well as new visitors, Mr Konig said.
One model railroader, who travelled from Tasmania for the exhibition, made a layout of Fingal.
They won the judge’s vote and the exhibitors’ vote.
Mr Konig won the public vote for his layout of Colinsville.
