THE Northern Grampians Shire Council has been given funding from the federal government for their recreation project. The funding comes from the federal government’s building better regions fund community investment stream.

Mallee MP Andrew Broad said he notified NGSC they will be receiving $18,700 for their recreation futures project. Mr Broad said the funding will go to Stawell and St Arnaud.
Dimboola has also recieved $10,000 from the same fund.
“The Hindmarsh Shire Council will receive $10,000 for their Dimboola human powered vehicle event,” he said.
“This is an innovative and exciting event for everyone in the community to attend.”
Mr Broad said the community investment stream is part of the government’s plan to support regional Australia. He also said he is hopeful there will be more announcements over the next few weeks.
