Carey returned to the field after missing four matches with a broken hand.
He led his side out in a massive clash against Noradjuha-Quantong on the road, helping them across the line to victory.
Carey broke his hand during his 200th match back in round four against Edenhope-Apsley, 49 days ago.
He was also set to play for the Horsham District interleague side in that time but missed with the hand injury.
Carey said he felt great in his first game back.

“It was good, obviously it was still in the back of my mind a bit but I’d like to think it didn't show through and affect my game too much,” he said.
“It was great to run out with the boys again.”
Carey said he has pulled up well, with fitness not an issue despite missing six weeks of match football.
“I was able to keep running while I wasn’t playing so I was still pretty fit,” he said.
“Our midfield core made it pretty easy for me on Saturday, it was a pretty balanced performance.
“I pulled up 100 per cent with no swelling or anything so I am really pleased with it.”
