After leaving school, Sean trained as a psychiatric nurse at J Ward.
While working in this role, he continued his studies and gained a Masters from the University of Ballarat.
He moved into management and was appointed to his current position two years ago.
Reluctantly he had to give up basketball but now he coaches his daughters at netball which includes a premiership tilt. For his own recreation he flies planes.
