The Grampians National Park will feature on a global stage on Wednesday when cooking show Masterchef Australia is filmed at Dunkeld’s Royal Mail Hotel.
Celebrity chefs, food critics and contestants will arrive by helicopter and be joined by “local heroes” in showcasing the iconic hotel's new restaurant, Wickens.
The episode will highlight the culinary skills of Royal Mail Hotel executive chef Robin Wickens and head chef Dave Sullivan.
Mr Wickens said it was a privilege to feature in the show that is aired in more than 180 countries around the world.
“It’s an honour and quite humbling to be involved in such an iconic show,” he said. “It’s a great opportunity to showcase the Royal Mail Hotel’s passion for great food to such an engaged, large and loyal MasterChef fan base.”
The episode will air on Wednesday, June 6.
