Just one game separates fifth to 12th on the ladder, with both the Bombers and Grasshoppers sitting on two wins and three losses.
Navarre coach Kyle Hendy said it is vital for his side to get a win this weekend.
“It will be critical to try and get a win to get improve our standing on the ladder,” he said.
“We probably could have been closer in a few of our games early in the season so it is important to make up for those losses.”
The Grasshoppers return to action after a week off for interleague last Saturday.
Hendy said it was good timing to have the week off.
“Everyone has recovered from any niggles which is great. Our side will be similar to our last game,” he said.
“It probably comes at the right time after a few closer and harder games.
“Even after a week off we will carry some momentum from our win before the break into Saturday.”
The Grasshoppers will put a focus on defence this weekend, having conceded the fourth most amount of points in the league after round five.
“One thing we need to work on is not letting the ball out of our forward line quickly and with ease,” Hendy said.
“Rebound goals have hurt us a lot this season. If we can stop them we will concede less and score a lot more.”
