Foster’s mens and ladies wear and D.A.M Farming faced off in the first game of the day.
Lauren Hughes shot well to score 18 points for Foster’s to lead her team to a 42-24 victory. Jade Cross top-scored for D.A.M with 10 points while Alison Holt was also impressive.
The high-scoring trend continued in the second match between The Great Western Shoppe and Ricksteel Fabrications.
Great Western started the game in fine form, leading 28-20 by half-time.
Despite resistance from Ricksteel, with Jess Hodder scoring 14 points to continue her good form, Great Western ran away with a 50-36 win.
Jemma Clarkson returned to day basketball, scoring 12 points while Amy Yole and Erin Freeland scored highly once again. Madi McCartney and Theresa Henley had eight points each for Ricksteel.
Teams will have a bye next Monday, with play to resume on Monday June 4.
