Quilters from all over Victoria are travelling to Stawell this weekend for the Victorian Quilters Gathering.

There will be ‘show and tell’, guest speakers and quilters comparing their handiwork.

Guest speaker quilt judge Margaret Parkinson will be talking about what quilting judges are looking for in quilts.

The other guest speaker from Stawell Athletic’s Club Murray MacPhearson will be talking about the area, including the Stawell Gift.

“I’m looking forward to getting together with lots of other quilters,” Stawell Quilters Inc. member Lois Johnson said.

This is the second time the gathering will be hosted by Stawell Quilters Inc.

The gathering is open to everyone and will be held at Stawell Entertainment Centre on May 19 from 10am to 4pm. Entry is $5.
