Jake Goodes will hang up the boots after 15 years of service for the Baggies.
Goodes said the decision was not an easy one to make.
“My head has been telling me one thing but my body has been saying another,” he said.
“I would love to keep going but my body just can’t do it anymore.”

Swifts coach Scott Carey said it will be sad to see Goodes’ career come to an end.
“We are shattered he is unable to continue but he said his body just can’t do it anymore,” Carey said.
“He has been a huge part of the club for so long.
“He was an integral part of our premiership in 2014 and has been great in developing the side we have now.”
More to come.
