A MAN has been rescued by emergency services after he fell six metres at Halls Gap on Sunday.

The man was hiking along the Venus Baths Walking Track when he fell at about 11.30am.
A State Emergency Services spokeswoman said the man sustained lower body injuries.
“There were quite a number of members down there; seven from SES, two from Ambulance Victoria and two from CFA,” she said.
“A high angle rescue wasn’t required.”
The spokeswoman said the man was rescued by 1pm.
“He was being transported to hospital by Ambulance Victoria,” she said.
