Ms King said the forum would give local residents a chance to have their say on the Grampians and Pyrenees regions’ health needs.
The forum will be hosted on Sunday 22nd of April by Sarah De Santis, state Labor candidate for Ripon, and Ms King from 10.30am to 11.30am at Pyrenees House, 5 Girdlestone Street.
Ms King said the the forum will also “address the impact of the Turnbull Liberal Government's plan to slash funding to Victorian hospitals”.
“This will be a great opportunity for locals to hear about Labor’s health policies and give feedback on what their region needs”, Ms King said.
“The discussions at events such as this go on to shape health policies and priorities into the future.”
Ms De Santis said the discussion would provide an opportunity for residents to share their views on the community’s healthcare and hospital services.
"It shouldn't matter where you live," Ms De Santis said. "Every Victorian patient deserves good quality care, close to home."
"Our doctors and nurses are doing an amazing job. I want to make sure they continue to get the support they need.”
