Prices for Australia’s richest footrace have remained steady, not fluctuating from the 2017 admission cost.
Working with Stawell Athletic Club to run the 2018 Stawell Gift, 360 Sport and Entertainment managing director Trent Taylor said keeping cost of tickets steady was crucial.
“The club has elected to maintain same pricing as 2017,” he said.
“The want to make the Gift as accessible as possible and to give anyone who wants to attend the event a chance to do so."
Tickets start at $5 for the Calcutta and Call of the Card on Good Friday and range to $25 for an adult day pass.
Weekend passes are also available with a single three day pass costing $70 and a weekend family pass for two adults and up to three children under 15 years old going at $120.
Taylor said the prices have been set to be “quite affordable”.
“$120 is incredible for a family for three days,” he said.
“There are concession tickets available for students, pensioners and healthcare card holders.
“We will also have the return of Cadbury Family Day on Easter Sunday which has free entry for kids and reduced concession and adult prices.”
The release of tickets comes just one week after entries opened for the 137th running of the Stawell Gift.
