Swifts-Great Western Cricket Club is $2000 better off after winning Sunday’s Sungold Twenty20 Cup quarter final over Hamilton Cricket Club.
The Stawell and Great Western based team did things relatively easily at Warrnambool’s A.H Davidson Oval, going on to win by seven wickets.
The Combine was forced to bowl first, which caused no concerns. They were able to bowl Hamilton out for 109 in 19.3 overs.
Jamie Bach was the pick of the bowlers with his 3-17, while Gary Ranton and Matt Heffer picked up two scalps each.
The Combine chased the total with ease, losing just three wickets to reach the total with two overs to spare.
Rick Peters top-scored with his knock of 54.
Swifts-Great Western will face off against Mount Gambier based team North Sportsman's in Friday’s semi final from 12.30pm at Allansford Recreation Reserve.
