Police catch speeding driver with ‘large’ quantities of cannabis
A motorist hurtling down the Western Highway at 107km/h in a 60km zone was also found to be in possession of a “large” quantity of cannabis, cannabis plants and growing equipment.
Stawell police intercepted the 30-year-old male of Asian descent, who had intended to reach Melbourne, about 5.30am on Friday.
There were also two other people inside the vehicle.
The motorist was interviewed at the Stawell Police Station, charged and bailed to appear at Stawell Magistrates Court.
