
No one at scene after car hits tree off Grampians Rd
Police are investigating a mystery car that hit a tree on Grampians Road, near Illawarra Nature Conservation Reserve, about 8.25pm on Tuesday.
No persons were found inside the vehicle or at the scene when police and the Stawell Country Fire Authority brigade arrived.
Stawell Sergeant Bill Alford said police were making further inquiries into what occurred, but paramedics were not required at the scene.
“All we know is the car left the road and hit a tree,” he said.
