Police are investigating a fatal collision near Bayena between Minyip and Marnoo.
A man has died following a collision between a car and a truck on Banyena Road in Banyena about 5pm on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to Banyena Road between Banyena Silo Road and Donald-Stawell Road about 65 kilometres north of Stawell
The male driver of the car, who has yet to be identified, died at the scene,
This female passenger has serious but non-life threatening injuries.
A Victoria Police statement said the the male driver of the truck was not physically injured and is assisting police with inquiries.
“The exact cause of the collision is being investigated and yet to be determined,” the statement said.
“Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
