
Helicopter winches injured man from park
EMERGENCY services rescued an injured man from the Grampians National Park on Friday.
A State Emergency Services spokesman said crews were called to Fish Falls, near the Zumsteins Picnic Area, at 7.30pm on Friday.
He said a man, 66, had to be rescued from the area.
The man was winched from the scene by a helicopter.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesman said the man suffered a head injury.
The man was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
