
Christmas Day is almost here and like many it’s usually a good chance for a bit of backyard cricket, maybe a snag on the barbie, a trip to the water or a local park.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted Warracknabeal, Minyip and Murtoa to be the hottest places across the Wimmera on Christmas Day with 30 degrees tipped.
Ararat is forecast to be the ‘coldest’, but it will still be a nice 25 degrees.

In the lead-up to Christmas, the region will remain sunny, with Saturday tipped to be a scorcher in some areas, such as 37 in Warracknabeal, Minyip and Murtoa, 36 in Hopetoun, and 35 in Horsham and Dimboola.
