The 2018 fixture was announced at the Horsham District Football Netball League’s annual general meeting on Wednesday night, with two extra rounds to be played.
The reigning senior football premiers will be a test for the Baggies who are looking to go further than their semi final loss in 2017.
It is a tough start to the season for the Baggies’ senior footballers, having to wait until round five before they play a team that did not feature in the 2017 finals.
Swifts’ senior football coach Scott Carey said his side will have to be fit and firing from the very start of the season.
“We definitely need to start the season off on the right foot and get wins on the board early to avoid playing catch up,” he said.
“The way the rolling draw works has thrown us in the deep end a bit but that is just how it panned out.
“The longer season will be a test so hopefully we can manage our players through.”
