A male truck driver was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after his B-double slammed into a tree on the Donald-Stawell Road about 12pm on Wednesday.
In a statement Victoria Police said it was believed the 37-year-old from Camperdown lost control while travelling south bound on the major roadway.
Police will investigate to further determine the cause of the crash.

Emergency personnel are still on scene attempting to stabilise a male driver after his truck smashed into a tree on the Donald-Stawell Road about 12pm.
Sergeant Bill Alford said the driver’s injuries were not looking good.
”Once he is stabilised he will be airlifted to the Alfred Hospital,” he said.
Sergeant Alford said the B-double truck hit multiple trees before coming to rest on the side of the major road, 10 kilometres outside of Stawell.

Emergency services are rushing to rescue a trapped driver on the Donald-Stawell Road after a truck smashed into a tree about 12pm.
Stawell sergeant Bill Alford said police had been notified and were sending personnel to the scene, near Campbells Bridge.
Drivers should take care in the area.
