Pomonal could not capitalise with the bat after winning the toss, going all out in just 37 overs for a total of 84.
Sam Spark (21) and Robert McKinnon (23) were the only Pomonal batsmen to crack into double digits.
Buangor had an even contributuon from its bowlers, with Callum Baker and captain Chris Jerram picking up three wickets each, while Jack Ganley finished with two.
Pomonal was respectable with the ball but its score was too low to defend, with Buangor chasing it down and adding a further 87 runs.
Ganley notched up an impressive 76 while last weekend’s centurion Jacob Bates is unbeaten on 33 with two wickets in hand.
Matt Grinham picked up three wickets for Pomonal, with Lee Oliver and Ryan Nellthorp claiming two each.
Buangor resumes its innings next Saturday on 8-171 with the chance for an outright victory on the cards for the second week in a row.
