An elderly woman was transported to St Arnaud hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision at the Mcmahon and Inkerman Streets intersection about 12.10pm.
Northern Grampians Highway Patrol Leading Senior Constable Anthony Passalick said one of the motorists failed to stop at a give way sign.
“We are encouraging drivers to please take care leading up to Christmas – road safety is paramount,” he said.
There were no other injuries.

Emergency services are responding to a rescue road trap incident on the corner of Mcmahon and Inkerman Street at St Arnaud.
Stawell police said Highway Patrol had reached the scene about 12.10pm and were dealing with the matter.
Motorists should be cautious if driving through the area.
