Coach Bayley Dignan encouraged new and old swimmers to attend the session at Stawell leisure Centre.
“It is a good opportunity to get out there and give competitive swimming a go, or if you have already, to continue this great sport,” he said.
“Stawell Stingrays pride themselves on being a family-friendly club and are passionate about giving everyone a go.”
Swimming will commence at 6pm, followed by a barbecue dinner.
Dignan said he hoped for a good turnout.
“Small clubs like ours are an important part of the community and gives the youth an opportunity to represent Stawell throughout the district,” he said.
Dignan was appointed the new Stawell Stingrays Swimming Club primary coach in August last year.
Training will start on Thursday, October 12 at 6.45pm until 8pm- the first three training sessions will be free for new swimmers.
