The Stawell Golf Club is putting a call out for any interested golfers to sign up for a Holden Scramble event on Saturday, September 16.
The nationwide event will be supplying prizes for winners as well as a chance to progress to regional finals later in the year.
Stawell Golf Club captain Richard Hackwill said it is exciting to be able to host an event of this size once again.
“There has been fairly good interest already,” he said.
“The club benefits significantly from the event from hopefully drawing in a lots of players.”
The course has been affected by the recent wet weather, including having the course closed at one point.
Hackwill said the course has recovered in the last few weeks. “The course has improved drastically and is very playable,” he said.
“Our volunteers will be working hard to get the course to the top notch standard people expect from it.” Participants can register online at holdenscramble.com.au
