Navarre’s B Grade netball side will be in uncharted territory when it heads into Saturday’s preliminary final against Natte Bealiba.
The Grasshoppers’ second side is Navarre’s only netball team left in finals, an usual circumstance for the club.
Navarre B Grade coach Nicole Harding said it is an unusual feeling.
“It is a bit different being the only netball girls left,” she said.
“The A and C Grade girls have helped us out a lot since it can be difficult being the only team left at training.”
The Grasshoppers are coming off a break after a qualifying final win two weeks ago.
“I’m not a big fan of the week off,” Harding said.
“We have worked really hard on our fitness which will hold us in good stead after the break.
“It is very exciting to be where we are. I have a lot of faith in these girls and I am feeling confident they can get the job done.”
