A tree in Horsham’s Bowden Street will be removed, along with two trees in the Ss Michael and John's Catholic Church car park and four trees near the Wimmera River bridge.
Technical services director John Martin said often trees looked fine but testing of the structure could prove otherwise.
“The tree in Bowden Street had significant vertical cracking of the trunk and its inner core was in a deteriorated condition,” he said.
