The Stawell Gymnastics Club held its annual invitational competition on Sunday, with Stawell’s gymnasts enjoying a successful day.
Stawell head coach Elissa Chalmers said the day was a ran smoothly.
“It went really well, everything went to schedule,” she said.
“There were lots of competitors and lots of spectators which was great to see.”
Chalmers said the day was good for the newer members of the club.
“There were a couple of our kids that had never competed before, so it was good for them to experience competition gymnastics and see what other clubs do,” she said.
With clubs visiting from all parts of the state, Chalmers said
“It was a good chance for other clubs to see our facilities since we are always traveling to see theirs. We have had some good feedback which is nice.”
“It was a top effort from all the gymnasts, committee members and volunteers helping on the day.”
