Warriors senior football
At the start of the season all the talk was about how much Stawell would challenge in 2017.
Ten rounds in the side has yet to live up to that potential largely because of injury setbacks.
The Warriors have a strong forward line capable of stretching the best defence, but the biggest question remains as to whether the club’s best side can be put on the park.
Warriors A Grade netball
It has been a long and difficult season for the Warriors who are yet to notch a win in 2017. The side still has the chance to influence the final five when it plays the Saints and Ararat in coming weeks. The season has been used as a learning curve for a large number of younger players given good opportunities in A Grade.
Swifts senior football
The Swifts have been a young, hard-working side that has improved vastly since the start of the season.
It looks likely the Baggies will play finals in 2017 due to having a lighter run home than other finals contenders
Swifts A Grade netball
The Baggies returned to A Grade in 2017 and have done a good job in collecting three solid wins.
