Police question Stawell teenagers over string of town graffiti attacks

Two teenagers are being questioned by Stawell police over a series of graffiti incidents at the town’s public toilet facilities.

The Cato Park and Scallan Street public toilet blocks were graffitied on the evenings of June 19 and 14.

Stawell Sergeant Bill Alford said they were speaking to a girl and boy, 15, in relation to the crimes.

“These toilet blocks were extensively damaged, the walls were covered with graffiti,” he said.

Anyone with information could contact Stawell police or Crime Stoppers.
