With only three weeks to go, the excitement is building for region’s favourite winter wine tasting event - The Red Series, which features produce from the Grampians region.
Bringing together winemakers from the Pyrenees as well as Grampians areas under the one roof, wine tastings, a grazing paddock offering a wonderful food experience, along with ambient live entertainment, will abound.
The Red Series will be held on Saturday, July 29, between 1pm and 6pm at the Ballarat Mining Exchange.
Previously known as Seriously Shiraz, 2017’s The Red Series is offering an even greater experience with the inclusion of a grazing paddock of culinary delights to compliment the wine tastings presented by Western Victoria’s best wineries.
Owner of Creswick’s Farmers Arms Hotel, Chris Molloy, said: “This is a great opportunity for Farmers Arms Hotel Creswick to present what we do best, paddock to plate, and showcase only the best quality produce from our local region.
“Knowing our local farmers and doing all our own butchery in-house ensures our guests taste the freshness and quality.
“At The Red Series, our offerings will compliment the wines and certainly enhance the experience enjoyed by the guests.”
Blue Pyrenees chief winemaker Andrew Koerner, said: “We are proud to be presenting our selection of wines at The Red Series once again.”
Mr Koerner has been making wine for over 25 years. He has been with Blue Pyrenees since 2004 where he has overseen consistent improvements in quality resulting in wine show rewards, accolades and world wide sales success. (http://www.bluepyrenees.com.au)
