Another round of close matches were played in the most recent action of Women’s Day Basketball.
The Great Western Shoppe were able to overcome a second half comeback from Foster’s Mens and Ladies Wear, to come away with a 30-26 win in game one.
Trailing by eight points going into half time, Foster’s Mens and Ladies Wear scored 16 second half points but fell just short.
Points were evenly spread for both teams, with Sarah Tyler scoring a game high 10 points.
Game two saw Sneek-A-Peek and D.A.M Farming play out a hard fought 22-22 draw.
Sneek-A-Peek were in front for the majority of the game, but slipped in the crucial period of the match.
Courtney Morrow top scored for D.A.M Farming with 10 points.
D.A.M Farming will play The Great Western Shoppe in game one on Monday.
Game two will see Ricksteel Fabrications take on Sneek-A-Peek.
