The internationally renowned fun driving adventure Bust Rallies will pass through the Grampians as it heads towards the Barossa Valley in October.
Early bird registration was now open for the rally challenge, which had featured in nine countries, including the UK, Italy, Germany, France and Switzerland.
Australia’s inaugural event, Barossa of Bust, will take teams across Victoria and South Australia, starting in Geelong and finishing in the Barossa Valley.
Bust Rallies Australia managing director Stuart Chesneau said the event involved participants driving cars costing less than $1000 to “amazing” locations on some of the world’s best driving roads.
“Bust Rallies have united thousands of active, fun-seeking individuals,” he said.
“And with its challenges, silliness and unique team-focused ethos, camaraderie and thrills, we have no doubt the Barossa of Bust will provide a memorable experience for drivers.”
The rally event was not a race, teams would instead be tasked with costume competitions, scavenger hunts and challenges to compete for points and prizes.
Participating teams were also encouraged to fund raise for a charity of their choice.
The first Bust Rallies event hosted in the southern hemisphere was scheduled for October 12-14 and teams could register their interest at bustrallies.com.
