Joshua Ross won the 2003 Stawell Gift by a massive margin and then went on to represent Australia at the Athens Olympics in 2004.
After being narrowly beaten in the 2004 Gift semi final starting from scratch, he went on to win the 2005 Gift and became only the second runner to win from scratch and the third athlete to win the Gift twice.
