Wellness and nutrition coach Maggie Flanagan will be conducting interactive hands-on workshops on brain awareness, stress-less skills, socialising, movement and health at Stawell Library.
The Super Brain Train workshop will provide people with the best and healthiest ways to feed their brains.
Ms Flanagan said researchers across the world were looking at treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and the focus had now broadened to include preventative strategies.
“Various studies show that there are ways to improve your memory as you age and to help keep your brain functioning well,” she said.
“These workshops will provide information, activities and brain health tips which focus on a holistic health approach to daily routines to help incorporate best practice for a brain-protective lifestyle.”
Stawell Library, 7-9 Sloane Street, will host the workshop on Tuesday, March 28 at 2pm.
Bookings could be made on 5358 1274.
