Great Western Enterprises managing director Danial Ahchow said it was the first time Seppelt Wines was offering the experience as a ticketed event.
“We have been hosting underground dinners since the early 2000s, but that has always been exclusively with group dinners, now it is ticketed,” he said.
“It is a unique experience and offers that absolute wow experience.”
Mr Ahchow also said tourist numbers were increasing at the winery.
“Our numbers are up year and year by 10 per cent, which is really good for Great Western,” he said.
Tickets were priced at $120 and included a three-course meal underground in The Drives and wines from the Seppelt Drives and Foundation range.
