Eaton was left with a broken nose and ankle after a training accident during a trial meet on January 10.

"The mental and physical break has been good, but it is such a full-on job and when you are doing nothing it, is hard to switch off,” she said.
"The body is all good now but, because I had to have surgery, the doctor said I had to have a month of because it was such a unique break.”
Eaton will also use the time off to get do a follow-up surgery to get some metal out that was put in to help recovery after an accident in 2016.
She said now it is just a waiting game until she can start riding again.
"The surgeon said once the metal is out, then it will be around two or three weeks before I can start doing track work again,” she said.
"My weight is still very good, and have maintained the exercise, so I will be right to go.”
