
Wayne Hawker from the Jeparit Club took out the overall honours with a perfect score of 100 at the Dog Trap Creek Classic at the Callawadda-Stawell Clay Target Club on January 21.
The AA grade title went to Thomas Pilgrim from the Callawadda-Stawell club with a score of 137 out of a possible 140.
A grade was won by Beaufort’s Len Cook after he scored 97 out of 100.
Boort’s Denis Hannigan topped the B grade with 110 out of 120.
The four hours travel from Mildura was worth it for visiting shooter Luke Tyson after he claimed the C grade title after he shot 88.
The second event was won by Maryborough's Bruce Jennings after an impressive shoot-off scoring 157 and only missing three shots.
The A grade winner was Lindsay Torney after a toss of the coin win from fellow St Arnaud shooter Paul Chipperfield.
The B grade honours went to Kerang’s Slap Comensoli with an impressive 93 out of 100 score.
