Grampians Estate will again sponsor the Stawell Gift after the winemaker extended its contract with the Stawell Athletic Club for two years.
Stawell Athletic Club president Neil Blizzard said he was delighted to welcome back Grampians Estate as a long-time supporter of the event.
“Grampians Estate are a significant organisation in our region and their continued support is tremendous to the ongoing success of our historic Stawell Gift,” he said.
Grampians Estate owners Tom and Sarah Guthrie first partnered with the Stawell Gift in 2010.
Mr Guthrie said the company was proud to sponsor such a prestigious event.
“We take pride in sponsoring events in our local community,” he said.
“We have enjoyed a wonderful partnership with this iconic local event for the past seven years and are excited to continue this.
“The Stawell Gift began in 1878, the same year the Salinger family planted Grampians Estate’s, St Ethel’s Vineyard at Great Western, which is a neat coincidence.”
